1994-1995
BELIZE CITY, Belize

In Panama Jan meets Keith B. (his friend and mentor) that turns his values upside down. Together with Steve a frist "free Bar" is organized for the Belize chapter of the "Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship".

1997-1998
WINTERTHUR, Switzerland
   ​

A part of the Learn4Less group realizes that they share a common interest and love: bartending. Soon after they organize a first pop-up Bar. At first to make money, and lateron just for fun and donating the money to NPOs.

1999-2001
ZURICH, Switzerland

Stranded and willing to do just about any job, Jan becomes by accident a bartender. In the Red Roof Bar he meets Steve a very experienced bartender and learns how to make some really good drinks.  

1996
PANAMA CITY, Panama / BELIZE CITY, Belize

Some freshmen (including Thomas S.) take over the bible study group of the University of Business & Law ZHAW and turn it into Lean4Less. Some of them provide free Nachhilfeklassen in accounting. 

1999-2001
ZURICH, Switzerland

Inspired by Shelter City Amsterdam, a hostel by the name "Sweese" should open in Zurich.  A fancy bar is planned on the ground floor.  Unfortunatly, one of the main sponsors pulls out and the project must be abandoned.
