Team Events

a team experience that brings people together - and gives something back
BAR & SPORTS meets Purpose

Bar4Good loves racket sports — and for good reason. They bring people together, create energy and turn even the most mixed group into a team surprisingly quickly.

That is why combining sport with our pop-up bars feels like a perfect match. Choose squash, tennis, pickleball, padel, badminton, table tennis or street racket — either as a single activity or as part of a varied multi-sport experience. We organise the action. You bring the team spirit. And afterwards, everyone meets at the bar to celebrate properly.

A Bar & Sports experience typically costs between CHF 70 and CHF 90 per person, depending on the chosen activity, venue, duration, coaching and bar format. For a tailored proposal, please complete the request form in the Bar & Sports section of our Team Events Overview page.

RACKET SPORTS offered

Squash

Bar4Good is crazy about squash. Since 2026, we have supported the international tournament Grasshopper Cup (www.gc-cup.com), staged in the heart of Zurich’s main railway station. Two of our board members also perform important roles at this spectacular international tournament.

Squash events can be organised at various locations and, for a truly exceptional experience, can even include world-class players from the PSA Tour. Participants quickly discover just how fast, intense and exciting the sport can be—regardless of their previous experience. The GC Squash Section is the second home of several Bar4Good board members and provides the perfect setting for energetic team events, friendly competition and a well-earned drink together afterwards.

Tennis

For part of our board, the heart still beats firmly for tennis. Even at a slightly more advanced sporting age, they remain active on the Swiss tennis scene and continue to compete at an impressively high level. Thanks to their network, we can organise tennis events at various locations around Zurich. Our Vice-President is also an experienced tennis coach who still supports some of Switzerland’s most promising young talents.

From relaxed doubles matches to structured training sessions and friendly tournaments, we can tailor the format to the group’s abilities and ambitions. Tennis combines technique, movement, tactics and competition—and provides the perfect excuse to finish the day together at the Bar4Good pop-up bar.

Pickleball

Together with Pickleball Corner and our good friend Dominik Kuhn, we offer fantastic outdoor team events. We can, for example, play on Zurich’s Landiwiese until the sun goes down—and then set up our pop-up bar and barbecue right there. It is rookie style, wonderfully uncomplicated and somehow simply super cool.

This fast-growing trend sport from the United States combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It is easy to learn, highly social and usually great fun from the very first rally—even for confirmed racket-sport sceptics. Pickleball is therefore ideal for mixed groups, as beginners can quickly join in while more experienced players still find plenty of room for tactics and competition.

Street Racket

Street Racket is a particularly cheeky and accessible way to discover racket sports—and it offers several advantages over more traditional formats. Through its founder, the senior Street Racket Swiss champion on our Advisory Board and several other friends who know the sport inside out, we have access to a fantastic network of people who can turn it into a truly memorable team event.

The beauty of Street Racket is that it can be played almost anywhere, especially outdoors. No fixed courts or expensive infrastructure are required; all it takes is a suitable surface, a few simple markings, rackets and a ball. It is inclusive, easy to learn and perfect for creative competitions involving people of all ages and abilities.

Badminton

We offer badminton—or a combination of badminton and other sports—together with our friends at Sihlsports. After completing their junior squash careers, they were clever enough to turn their hobby into a profession. Several of our board members, meanwhile, had to say goodbye to the good life and do something serious with theirs. It is wonderful that we can now get together again from time to time and create a little sporting mischief.

Badminton is fast, dynamic and accessible to almost everyone. It can be played casually or competitively, in singles or doubles, and works especially well for groups with different levels of experience. Add a pop-up bar and dinner, and you have a wonderfully balanced team experience.

Table Tennis

At Sihlsports, we can also enjoy a round—or considerably more than one round—of table tennis with our friends. What begins as a harmless warm-up has a remarkable tendency to turn into a fiercely contested tournament within minutes. Apparently, everyone has played before, and almost everyone believes they are secretly rather good at it.

Table tennis is fast, entertaining and ideal for groups, as matches are short and players can rotate easily. It requires little preparation, works in almost any weather and allows beginners and experienced players to compete side by side. Whether offered as the main activity or combined with badminton, squash or padel, it adds energy, laughter and a healthy dose of rivalry to any team event.

Padel

Sihlsports also has two padel courts, allowing us to include one of the world’s fastest-growing racket sports in our team events. Padel combines elements of tennis and squash and is normally played in doubles. The surrounding glass walls are part of the game—which may initially seem unusual but quickly makes the rallies longer, livelier and much more entertaining.

The sport is easy to learn, highly social and perfectly suited to groups with different levels of experience. Even complete beginners can enjoy exciting rallies after only a short introduction. With its combination of teamwork, tactics and action, padel creates an immediate sense of fun—and pairs exceptionally well with drinks, food and a relaxed evening at our pop-up bar.
Example Format: Bar & Squash Experience for 25 People

At 2.30 p.m., the team arrives at the club facilities of the Grasshopper Club Zurich Squash Section.

Two experienced coaches introduce Bar4Good and the world of squash — including the sport’s Olympic debut in Los Angeles in 2028.

At around 3.00 p.m. this is followed by 90 minutes of coaching, friendly challenges and free play. Special training balls make the experience enjoyable for every skill level, including complete beginners. The focus is on movement, team spirit and having fun together.

At around 5.00 p.m., the GC Sports Bar opens and aperitif bites are served alongside its signature drink, classic cocktails and refreshing alcohol-free mocktails.

Depending on the chosen format and catering, this experience is available for approximately CHF 70–100 per person.

Sport, team spirit and great drinks—an inspiring team event for the afternoon.
